THE BIGGER PICTURE
Weah started the game on the wing, having spent most of last season featuring at wing-back. Monday was Thiago Motta's first official match in charge and early indications show that Weah will be seen as an attacker under his watch, not a defender.
It was a good start, too, as Weah scored just his second Juventus goal. His first came back in January when he scored for Juve in the Coppa Italia.
